Libyan Americans File Lawsuit Against Warlord Haftar for Human Rights Violations

WASHINGTON ­­– Family members of those brutally killed by Libyan warlord Khalifa Haftar’s militias announce a lawsuit against Haftar, a U.S. citizen, for war crimes. Victim will be joined by the President of the Libyan American Alliance, Esam Omeish, U.S. Congressman Tom Malinowski, and former U.S. Ambassador Stephen J. Rapp.

The Congressman will offer comments at the press conference regarding the bipartisan letter sent to US Department of Justice requesting an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by Haftar and by militias under his command.
